What’s different about For the Love of Grape wine tours?
We offer complete flexibility! We are a wine tour company that allows all our customers to have input into the itinerary for the day! From the well known wineries to the small appointment only wineries, we visit them all! All our hosts are true hosts that guide you through the day to ensure it is memorable and relaxing day.
Can children join the tour?
We do not have any capsule, car seat or booster seats so we are unable to cater for any children under the age of 7 which is a requirement by Victorian law. For children over the age of 7 they can join a tour but they will be charged the same amount as an adult price.
What days do you operate?
Every day of the week for any group size over 6. We do not operate on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day or Good Friday.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do require confirmation of final numbers and final payment 7 days prior to your scheduled tour. In the event you need to cancel your tour or have individuals who cancel after this date may not be eligible for a refund. Please note: any cancellations provided in less then 48hrs will not be eligible for a refund as all tour costs (lunches, tasting fees, pamper packages) are paid prior to your tour.
Are gift vouchers available?
Gift Vouchers are a great idea for sponsoring charity events or for corporate gifts for staff or customers. Note that gift vouchers are only available for groups over 10.
Can we bring wine or alcohol with us?
As we do not have a liquor license the consumption of any liquor is prohibited on all our vehicles.
Can we bring food?
Yes we do not mind you bringing snack type of food as long as it is consumed in the vehicles but please note that no food is allowed onto the premises of any wineries that has an existing food license (i.e. cafe/restaurant connected to the winery). Please always check with us first before if you wish to bring food with you.
How do we book a tour or confirm a date?
Once you have confirmed that you wish to book a tour and have a date in mind, contact us so that we can send you a booking form. Note a booking cannot be confirmed until a deposit has been received. Please see below regarding our payment terms.
How do we pay and what are the payment terms?
A deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking and remaining payment is required 7 days prior to tour date. We accept VISA, Mastercard, cheque or EFT payment. We also accept American Express cards however additional charges will be applied. All pricing includes GST and all tasting fees.
What happens in the event of a natural disaster (bushfires/flooding)?
In the event of a natural disaster where lives and property are at risk or an unforseen event (vehicle accident), all tours will be cancelled by us with as much notice as possible and a full refund provided.
Travelling times on a tour?
All customers are provided an itinerary before the tour date to provide an indicative run down of the day. Please note that there will be travelling time between pickup and drop off points for all mixed tour groups within the start and end times of tours.
